About Raven Doors & Windows
Las Vegas Premier Windows and Doors

We Built Houses Before Building a Company

Raven Doors & Windows was not started by people who read about the construction industry. It was started by people who worked in it. For years, our team built and remodeled custom homes across the Las Vegas valley. We managed the framing, coordinated the trades, dealt with the inspections, and sat across the table from homeowners who trusted us to deliver something worth the investment.

We know what it feels like when a material order is three weeks late and the stucco crew is already scheduled. We know what happens when a window shows up and the rough opening does not match. We know the phone call a contractor gets eighteen months after a project closes because a client is finding water on their windowsill during monsoon season.

We lived every one of those problems. And eventually, we decided to stop working around them and start solving them.

The Problems We Kept Running Into

Three issues came up on nearly every custom home and remodel project we touched, and they never seemed to get better.

The product was not built for this climate. Las Vegas is one of the most demanding environments for building materials in the country. The valley averages 78 days per year above 100 degrees, records surface temperatures of 160 to 200 degrees on south- and west-facing walls, and delivers a UV index that regularly hits extreme levels. Vinyl window frames, which dominate the residential market nationally, have a softening temperature between 150 and 170 degrees Fahrenheit. In a Las Vegas summer, that threshold gets tested every afternoon. We installed vinyl windows on projects and then fielded calls from our clients about warping frames, failed seals, fogged glass, and air and water leakage. The material was not designed for this heat, and it showed.

The price did not match the value. When we looked at the alternatives — thermal broken aluminum systems from established national brands — the performance was there, but the pricing was steep. Premium window and door packages on a custom home could push well into six figures. For our clients, and for the builders we worked alongside, that kind of number changes the math on an entire project. There had to be a way to deliver that level of performance without that level of markup.

The timelines made scheduling nearly impossible. Lead times of 16 to 24 weeks were standard. On a custom home, that means ordering windows before the foundation is poured and hoping nothing changes. On a remodel, it means telling a homeowner their kitchen or living room will be open to the elements for four to six months while they wait for product. We watched projects stall, budgets balloon, and relationships strain because a window order was sitting in a queue somewhere.

So We Built Something Better

Raven Doors & Windows exists because we got tired of compromising. We wanted a thermal broken aluminum product that could handle the Las Vegas climate without question, priced in a range that works for real projects, and delivered on timelines that keep construction schedules intact.

That is exactly what we built.

Our entire product line is thermal broken aluminum. The frames are built around an aluminum structure with a melting point of over 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning there is zero risk of heat-related deformation at any temperature this valley will ever produce. A reinforced polyamide thermal break between the interior and exterior sections of each frame interrupts conductive heat transfer, delivering energy performance that meets and exceeds ENERGY STAR requirements for our climate zone without relying on a material that cannot survive the environment.

We source and private-label our products, which allows us to maintain strict quality standards while cutting out the layers of margin that inflate pricing at the brands most people are familiar with. The result is a product that performs at the same level — or better — at a price point that does not force builders or homeowners to make sacrifices elsewhere in the project.

And our typical lead times run 10 to 12 weeks. Not 16. Not 24. Ten to twelve. Because we understand that a window order is not just a purchase. It is a date on a construction schedule that twenty other trades are building around.

Built for Contractors, By Contractors

We did not come from the manufacturing side and try to learn construction. We came from construction and applied what we already knew.

When a general contractor calls us, we speak the same language. We understand take-off sheets, rough opening tolerances, installation sequencing, and the reality that a missed delivery does not just inconvenience one person — it cascades through an entire project timeline. We understand that the person ordering the windows is also managing the electrician, the plumber, the HVAC crew, the tile installer, and the homeowner, all at the same time.

That is why we are direct, responsive, and honest about timelines. If something changes on our end, we communicate it before it becomes your problem. If a field measurement does not match the original order specs, we work with you to solve it quickly. We have been on the other side of that phone call too many times to operate any other way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who started Raven Doors & Windows?2026-06-14T15:48:25-07:00

Raven was founded by a team of experienced Las Vegas contractors who spent years building and remodeling custom homes. After dealing with recurring issues around product quality, pricing, and lead times in the window and door industry, they launched Raven to deliver a better solution built specifically for the demands of the Las Vegas market.

Why does Raven use thermal broken aluminum instead of vinyl?2026-06-14T15:48:43-07:00

Las Vegas summer temperatures push vinyl past its softening point, causing warping, seal failure, and air and water leakage over time. Thermal broken aluminum has a melting point of over 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit and maintains dimensional stability in any temperature the valley can produce. The thermal break provides energy efficiency comparable to vinyl without the durability tradeoffs.

How long does it take to get windows from Raven?Raven delivers typical lead times of 10 to 12 weeks, compared to the industry standard of 16 to 24 weeks for comparable thermal broken aluminum products.
